So why choose Russell Sage’s program?

Our program is much more affordable

— than other weekend hybrid programs. We charge only $871.25 per credit (Tuition is $1025 per credit, but the CSA / SAANYS Discount of 15% for Fall 2024 brings it to $871.25). We only require 46 credits, since you already have your SBL certification.  Total cost is less than $40,077.50, compared to $60,000 or more for a similar program.

The program emphasizes both vision and skill development

— because we think you need both to successfully grapple with the changing world of K-12 education.  Big changes are coming to K-12 education.  Schools and school districts are going to have a choice of being pro-active or having changes forced upon them.  We work together so you have the tools to be in charge of the changes that are coming.

We structure the program for your success.

— Doctoral programs aren’t easy.  Fewer than 50% of all students successfully complete doctoral programs.  We address this by assigning you an advisor immediately upon entrance and structuring the program so that you do a fair amount of the dissertation during your course work.  We don’t want you to start unless we both are confident of your ability to do the work and complete the program.  We’ll help you every step of the way. 85% of our students earn their degree, compared to fewer than 50% in other programs.
